About Me

My name is Aaron Johnson. I am a screenwriter and filmmaker willing to push any creative boundaries to tell compelling and lasting stories. I have written a handful of feature-length screenplays and short stories (examples can be found under the “Script Samples” tab, along with past films I have produced in the “Projects” tab)

I am from Detroit, Michigan, and a graduate of Michigan State University. Recently, I moved from Detroit to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of working in the film industry.

I am eager to work with individuals and collaborators with like-minded goals to tell powerful stories and learn from industry-leading professionals about the insides and outs of the industry,

Although my tastes vary, my favorite filmmakers include Steven Spielberg, Martin Scorsese, Edgar Wright, and John Hughes. My favorite genres are comedy, action, adventure, crime, and drama.
